The Wisconsin Cheese Originals

The Second Annual Wisconsin Original Cheese Festival on November 5-7, 2010, takes place at the Monona Terrace in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. The event celebrates the state's growing number of dairy artisans and original cheeses. Meet your favorite cheesemakers and taste hundreds of unique cheeses during this annual event, sponsored by Wisconsin Cheese Originals, an organization dedicated to celebrating Wisconsin artisan cheeses and cheesemakers.

Location: Ballrooms A & B, Monona Terrace, Madison, Wis.
Event Info: Shop a festive artisan marketplace showcasing 50 of Wisconsin's finest cheesemakers, gourmet food companies, wineries, and artists in a farmer’s market setting. Sample and purchase product. Take a piece of Wisconsin home with you.
Tickets: Cost: $12, includes an insulated cooler bag for cheese purchases. Advance tickets required.

A weeklong exhibition featuring all artwork submitted for the 46th Annual Juried Exhibition prior to the jury selection. The exhibition is a feast for the eyes! A true salon exhibit, the walls of the gallery are covered from floor to ceiling with artwork of all sizes and kinds created by local, regional and national artists. Visitors are encouraged to cast votes for their favorite pieces with the ever popular "People's Choice Awards."
